StoreMaster: Downloading and setting up drawers for CabMaster

StoreMaster is the new way of downloading all the Drawers, Materials, Handles and other tables and files we have available to expand your CabMaster and increase your productivity. 
This guide will take you through the process of adding new Drawers to your CabMaster in 5 simple steps. And it's Free!
Note: CMTableInstaller is only compatible for CabMasterV11 and up
           CMTableInstaller is only compatible for Windows 10 and up

1. Accessing StoreMaster
a. In CabMaster Version 12 you can find a button to our StoreMaster webpage in Drawing Properties > Materials-Advanced > Manager



b. Previous versions of CabMaster do not have the button, you can also access the StoreMaster site by going to go to https://cabmastersoftware.com/storemaster/ in your web browser. 


2. Downloading the Table Installer 
a. The CMTableInstaller.exe is required to put the downloaded files into the correct file locations. It does this by reading the registry. 

b. Click 'Download Table Installer', your web browser may tell you that the file isn't commonly downloaded and ask if you want to keep the file, Make sure you choose to keep it.
Note: Different web browsers will have different messages and security setting, the download will not harm your PC.  




3. Downloading Drawer Tables 
a. From the Main Screen of StoreMaster click on 'Shop Drawer Tables



b. Choose the brand of drawer you'd like to download by clicking on the brand logo.
     Each brand will display all the drawer models that are currently available. 

c. Click 'Add to cart' for each drawer model you'd like to download.  

d. Once you have selected all the tables you'd like to download you can click on the Cart.



e. In the Cart you can review your order and click 'Proceed to checkout'



f.  Upon filling in the details, make sure you have ticked the agreement and click 'Place Order'
Beware that you need to put in the correct email address to get an email copy of your order. 



g. After processing, you will be re-directed to another page, you can now download the DrawerModel.smz in the Download column. 



h. Now you have downloaded the tables, you need to click on the name of the Drawer Type under Product. This will take you to a new web page that shows you the Runner Setup.

   This image shows you how to set up your runners so they automatically adjust with the opening size of the cabinet. 




4. Installing the Tables into CabMaster

You have downloaded the tables and have the information for setting up the runner group.
All that needs to be done now is to get the tables installed into the correct file locations and create runner group(s) so that you can use them. 
The CM Table Installer will install the tables into the correct file locations for the CabMaster version you are using.

a. Open the default download folder in File Explorer
     you will see CMTableInstaller.exe and a .smz file that is the drawer model you have downloaded. 



b. Open CMTableInstaller.exe and make sure to allow if Windows asks for permission.

c. You will be presented with a popup asking to Press OK and then select the .smz file you have downloaded.
    After this another window will open, navigate to the downloads folder and select the .smz file for the drawer tables 
    Note: you can only install one .smz at a time



d. Next you will be asked to select which version of CabMaster you'd like to install the tables into. Make sure to select the Version of CabMaster you are using. And Click OK
    After that has completed the CMTableInstaller will display as completed, and you can click Close.
    Note: you can only install to one version of CabMaster at a time




5. Creating a runner Set 
a. In CabMaster, open Drawing Properties > Hardware > Managers
Under Runner Set there are 5 different types, Knowing the type is critical for setting up the Runner.
The ones you will need to know are:

Standard = Box drawers with ball bearing runners or under-mount runners.
For Setup see Section 5.1


Metal = Single walled, metal-sided drawers
For Setup see Section 5.2


Premium = double walled, metal sided drawers
For Setup see Section 5.3



5.1. Setting up Box Drawers
Open Drawing Properties > Hardware >Managers

a. Click on the Form Button Next to Standard


b. In the popup window, click New

c. After this it will ask for a name for the new Runner Set. You can call it whatever you like, However; we suggest you name it as per the Runner Setup on the StroreMaster Website (see Section 3.j.) 

d. click okay for both windows, it is now saved, but has nothing in it.

e. Open Drawing Properties > Hardware > Drawers 

f. Next to the Standard button, choose your new runner set in the drop down, then click Edit and a new window will open.



g. in the new window click Edit, this will open another window that looks similar to the previous but will allow you to edit and save the runner set. 

h. In the Folder Drop down, choose the brand, and for the first runner, choose the drop down to select the desired runner. 
    Make sure that you match the settings as shown in StoreMaster (see Section 3.j.)  

i. Click Update, then OK, then OK again to close the windows. 


j. Your Standard Runner Setup is now complete


5.2. Setting up Single-Wall Metal Drawers
Open Drawing Properties > Hardware >Managers

a. Click on the Form Button Next to Metal Standard


b. In the popup window, click New

c. After this it will ask for a name for the new Runner Set. You can call it whatever you like, However; we suggest you name it as per the Runner Setup on the StroreMaster Website (see Section 3.j.) 

d. click okay for both windows, it is now saved, but has nothing in it.

e. Open Drawing Properties > Hardware > Drawers 

f. Next to the Metal Standard button, choose your new runner set in the drop down, then click Edit and a new window will open.



g. in the new window click Edit, this will open another window that looks similar to the previous but will allow you to edit and save the runner set. 

h. In the Folder drop-down, choose the brand and for the first runner, choose the drop down to select the desired runner. 
    Do this for each runner size, you will need to enter a value in the Height box for each line before selecting subsequent drawer runners
    Make sure that you match the settings as shown in StoreMaster (see Section 3.j.)  

i. Click Update, then OK, then OK again to close the windows. 


j. Your Metal Runner Setup is now complete


5.3. Setting up Double-Wall Metal Drawers
Open Drawing Properties > Hardware >Managers

a. Click on the Form Button Next to Premium


b. In the popup window, click New

c. After this it will ask for a name for the new Runner Set. You can call it whatever you like, However; we suggest you name it as per the Runner Setup on the StroreMaster Website (see Section 3.j.) 

d. click okay for both windows, it is now saved, but has nothing in it.

e. Open Drawing Properties > Hardware > Drawers 

f. Next to the Metal Premium button, choose your new runner set in the drop down, then click Edit and a new window will open.



g. in the new window click Edit, this will open another window that looks similar to the previous but will allow you to edit and save the runner set. 

h. In the Folder drop-down, choose the brand and for the first runner, choose the drop down to select the desired runner. 
    Do this for each runner size, you will need to enter a value in the Height box for each line before selecting subsequent drawer runners
    Make sure that you match the settings as shown in StoreMaster (see Section 3.j.)  

i. Click Update, then OK, then OK again to close the windows. 


j. Your Metal Runner Setup is now complete
