Pricing of Board Material (By Area) and Hardware
Pricing of Board Material (By Area) and Hardware
Area Pricing for Board Materials
Use Materials
Manger to set up the Area price rate against all appropriate
materials and save. This could, for example, correspond to our suppliers’ price
list.
You can also include an Additional mark-up percentage, for example, a 5% mark-up can be added to account for the cost of
freight which you may bear.
NOTE: It is important to note that the mark-up here
should not be confused with the mark-up in the Pricing/Mark-ups page. The mark-up in the Pricing/Mark-ups page
will be applied to the total cost within the Materials Manager.
Hardware Pricing
Selecting What to Price
- Select the categories that will be priced through the Pricing/Mark-ups page of the Pricing category of catalog properties,
as per image to the right. The Levels give the ability to mark-up the prices
and are percentages (%).
- Once complete, save the
catalog and restart the application.
Hardware From Manager
- Select the Hardware (Form or Table) from the Pricing/Mark-ups page of the Pricing category of catalog properties.
Add the prices i.e. Cost against the appropriate Hardware items shown below left. The Hardware items can
be edited, removed and added to suit local requirements. Some customers have
found it more convenient to package hardware together rather than have a big
list of individual items.
NOTE: The
Pulls (Handles) are catered for in a separate table.
Choose the hardware
associated with a cabinet use the Hardware page on the Materials category of each cabinet in the catalog.
Test
The breakdown of prices can
be tested by running the Quantities report against a drawing. This report allows you to zoom in on each
category to get greater levels of detail (look
for the mouse pointer becoming a magnifying glass as you hover over parts of the report, then double-click).
