Introduction
A Cloud2 Licence will have an ID Number and an Activation Code.

The ID Number will be a six digit number, typically beginning with 9.
When starting ShapeMaster, the ID Number can be seen in the Splash Screen.

Splash Screen: ID Number in RED Box

The Activation code will be a series of numbers and Letters,
It will look similar to this: 249G24NGH-P4IG-B9GH-YB5E-D623MDCBV58I
(this is an example, not a real activation code)

Only ONE Cloud2 licence can be used on ONE computer at a time.

1. Applying the Activation Code:
a. The FIRST time you run ShapeMaster before applying the Cloud2 activation code, the below error message will appear:

b. After clicking OK, the next Window will appear:

d. Next time you go to activate ShapeMaster(as per Section 1) the Cloud 2 Activation Code will be remembered and will show in the Activation Window.
In V12 it will appear as a series of stars; this is to ensure the Activation code cannot be copied.
Note: In earlier versions of ShapeMaster it will display the Activation Code normally.

3. Short Timeout:
a. Short Timeout requires a stable connection to the internet. The Licence will be checked every 30 minutes.

b. If you disconnect from the internet while using ShapeMaster with Short Timeout selected:

Prompting you to save the drawing and connect to the internet.

ii. Following this, there will be another popup stating that the Offline Timeout has been reached and ShapeMaster will shutdown.
Note: when this happens the job will not save. ShapeMaster will close immediately. After connecting to the internet, you can start ShapeMaster as normal.

c. If ShapeMaster is not used within a 30 minute window, then the licence can be applied to another computer without needing to release the licence manually, as in Section 2.
Note: only 1 licence can be applied to 1 computer at a time, there is a 30 minute period before the licence can be applied to another PC without removing the licence.

d. To make sure Short timeout is enabled:
i. Go to File > Options > General
ii. Next to the Release button there is a checkbeck that says Long Timeout, make sure this IS NOT ticked.
iii. Click Apply > OK

4. Long Timeout:
a. Long Timeout means your computer only needs to be connected to the internet once every seven days.
Eg. If you connect to the internet on Monday and open ShapeMaster,
